Today I spent some time with the family. Today is the anniversary of the death of my grandfather on my father's side. Not like I ever knew the man.... He kinda, like, died before I was even born.... ^_^; But it's a Vietnamese practice to pay respects to the dead on the anniversary of their death. All this took place at my grandmother's house. There, she set up an elaborate... I don't know what you'd call it... maybe an altar. On it, was placed a bunch of foods. I think the whole idea is that these are foods that the dead person really liked, but no one ever told me, so that's purely conjecture on my part there. Anyway, along with all the foods, are pictures of the deceased one. With that all in place, everyone just goes up to the altar and does a little prayer-type-thing. Not exactly. Something like we pay respects to the dead person and then ask him to help grant some desires of ours. I asked for a new car. XD Hopefully I'll be getting that MR2 I really want. And FD would be really nice, but I can't afford to maintain it. ^_^;; So after I did that, there was much fooding. I tell you, you can't go to a Viet function without food. There's always food around. You can't escape it! Not that you'd want to. Mm~... food....

When that was over, I went out yet again. Why? Because I went to meet up with a fellow poster on the Fanime forums. Yep, I met up with RyuDOA2Hayabusa at MGL. There we made some conversation. He played Capcom vs SNK 2.... I played SCII.... I had some competition, so I was happy. ^_^ After a while, we kinda got tired of the MGL action, so we headed over to Nikaku to window shop. XD So we didn't have any money to spend.... What else could we do? At least we both eyed plenty of things to spend our money on when we do have money.... ^_^;;; Finally, he came over to my house to leech some of my anime. ^_^; Not that it really matters to me. I still have plenty of CDs left. Maybe I should pick up a bit more though.... I want a good 400+ spare. Just in case.... ^_^

Oh my gosh. You won't believe it. I've been doing my homework! Not that I've been doing all of it, but I've gotten two sections of math half done. Oh yeah! I thought I'd accomplish nothing over this weekend, so you gotta give me props. Man, I surprise myself sometimes.... ^_^

Um... darn.... I want to bombard you peoples with a bunch of random babble, but nothing's coming to me right now. Hopefully my mind will be in a more random mood tomorrow, so ciao for now!

Thus Valentines Day comes to a close. As everyone today felt either really good because they were in a relationship or really depressed because they weren't, I was neither. Sure, I'm not in a relationship, but unlike a lot of people, I don't think that's a very depressing thought.

I didn't have school today, so spent the morning doing homework. Yes, I actually did homework. Can you believe it? I did that all the way until 2:00, when my friend, Nanona, got released from school. I met up with him and we had the "Tsubasa and Nanona's Valentines Day Extravoganza!" XD Yep, it was something of a tribute to single-hood. We didn't need to be in a relationship to have fun today! ^_^ Bad thing was, we were kinda pressed with what to do. ^_^;; We have that problem sometimes. First, we took a look at the local mall. No good reason, just cause. There, I picked up Real Bout Highschool tankouban 5. Scorage! *thumbs up* Then, without anything better to do, we went over to MGL to check things out, hoping for someone we knew to be there. No one was there. -_- So we left. Right about then we were thinking: "we need to do something so that we can make other people jealous that they aren't with us for Valentines." XD What did we decide to do? We went to do what I've been meaning to do with a number of my friends for a while: go out to eat at a real Vietnamese restaurant. There's always TK Noodle restaurants around, but that's not real Viet food! People need to try some of the good stuff, so I've said from time to time: "I'll take you sometime!" Well today was apparently "sometime." ^_^ We went out to eat. Mm~... Viet food.... ^_^ Directly following, we went to my other friend's house. He had finished with my Prince of Tennis episodes 1-52, so we came to pick them up for Nanona to watch them. There, we spent a good forty-five minutes playing Smash Bros. DX. Good times. ^_^ Then, realizing that I had to go, I dropped him home and went home myself.

I actually had quite a fun time today. Who says that you need to have someone on Valentines Day? ^_^ Besides, honestly, I don't especially care for the establishment of Valentines Day. Why? Because I think it's just a bunch of commercialized garbage. If I really love someone, why do I need to wait 'til Valentines Day to show her that I love her? And when it is Valentines, should I just buy her an empty rose or spend time with her? I can do that whenever I want! Of course, not the rose thing, because I think that's wrong. Possibly a potted plant, just because girls seem to like flowers so much. ^_^

I've been really, really bad at doing my work. ^_^; You don't know just how much I procrastinate here. I'll do two sections worth of homework maybe three hours before my math class. I'll write four page papers in two hours before leaving for school. Yeah, I think my procrastination is at an all-time high. ^_^;; In one respect, it kinda bothers me because I keep asking myself: "why the heck aren't you doing your work now when you're bored out of your mind?" But on the other hand, my grades aren't really suffering at all, so it's alright. Here I am. I should be doing some math, but knowing me, I won't get to it tonight. Hopefully tomorrow morning because I have math tomorrow and I don't want my homework to pile up too much. ^_^;;;

As something of a remedy for my friends' and my formitable procrastination skillz, we've actually assembled something of a homework group where we can gather and do more work than we would have done had we not assembled. Although this is generally pretty easy to accomplish as one math problem would probably be more than I would do myself. ^_^;;;; But in all seriousness, I actually got over half of a section done in about an hour, which is more or less the amount of time I can stay for each time we meet. Quite productive really. That's a good thing.

Hm... I think I'll try to do my work now.... Wish me luck. I may just end up on iRO again. ^_^;;;;;

Today was so cold! Much of the day I was all like: "this blanket isn't sufficient" *with blanket wrapped around legs and much of body*. I hear that it was in the 40's around here. So much of the day was spent feeling slightly less than adequately warmed. That was until maybe 5:00, when I decided to run to my bed and hid under three sheets. ^_^ Now that was warm. I liked it there. I was all "unyah~..." with happiness. ^_^ You know you like my sound of happiness. XD

You know something cool I found out the other day? Wienerschnitzel coupons work for up to three orders! When I read the fine print and found out I was all like: w00tando (my new Spanglish word)! Mm~... chili.... XD~~ So my friends and I were all cruising in my car when we were all like: "we need some snackage...." So out came my coupons, which I need because I like cheap food. ^_^ We found the coupons and were, needless to say, quite thrilled. We got six chili cheese fries using two coupons. Not only that, incompetent employees didn't even take the coupons after we used them! Now I get to use them again! Aa~... gotta love ignorant employees.... XD

OMG, I finally read Megatokyo today. This amazingly popular web comic has been around for what? Three years? NOW I read it. ^_^; I kinda meant to back in the day, but I never really did get around to it. But now that I have, man, I really like it. The man Fred Gallagher is so cool. He, like, likes everything I like! Bishoujo games, Hoshino Ruri, "emotionless" girls, fun with l33t (even though I don't know much), and most importantly, Sony bashing. Aw man, this guy speaks to me. XD I'm now gonna be an avid reader of the thing. I need to know what happens. Besides *coughthegirlsarecutecough.* ^_^;

I will leave you with a parting message:
Register for iRO! I command thee! XD
