About my finals:

Math-slightly harder than I expected, but I suppose it wasn't too bad. It could have been much worse, let me just say that.

Speech-just as easy as I expected. Yes, you know a test is easy when you can finish it in thirty minutes and you're given two hours. And no, I did not extra rush through it either. I just went right through because I knew everything (and let me inform you, I didn't study ^_^).

My speech final was my last final, so now I'm all free for spring break! XD Aw man, time to have some fun....

My first fun-type thing happened today actually. It was an outing to the local Great Mall to eat at the Outback Steakhouse. Meat!!! XD~~ You know I couldn't turn that down. ^_^ Therefore, I went with my friends Shelly and Tina to partake of this meat in celebration of Shelly's day of birth, which happened to be Monday. I ate some BBQ chicken and stole fries from predominatly Shelly's plate, but some from Tina's too. ^_^ The crappy thing about my dish was that I wasn't given a choice between vegetables and fries like Shelly and Tina. Nope, they stuck me with vegetables. -_- Psh, as if a man eats vegetables. XD I'm just glad that the ladies either didn't feel like eating their fries or were full. Score!

Let me just add that at the reservation desk at Outback was a basket of crayon bundles. They consisted of four crayons bundled together using a rubber band. I took one. Hey, how can you pass up crayons? XD Come on, you can use crayons for, like, drawing stuff. Oh, and let me add that my bundle has a green crayon in it. That's pimp, yo!

Right now I'm pondering what I'll do for the rest of my break. Sure, I'm going to play a lot of SCII and hopefully watch some new anime series, but what else? I have some big project planned, but I'm not sure whether I'm actually going to get to that considering how I'll have SCII.... ^_^;; My life is pretty boring now that I'm out of high school. Either that, or things just don't seem as important and noteworthy as they used to. Whatever the case might be, I don't think there's a whole not exciting about my life and thus you see the decline of my former regular posting regimine. I think I'll get back to that during this break. I'll try to think of something interesting to talk/rant about each day. Besides, what better things will I have to do? Oh wait... SCII.... ^_^;; Also, to those who I haven't e-mailed in a while, you'll most probably be getting something from me within the next week. w00t! Tsubasa's (hopefully) back in the online world. ^_^

If that last post wasn't enough of a hint, this week is my finals week. -_- I'm sure no one ever really enjoys finals weeks.

Monday was my humanities final. You see, Monday isn't a scheduled finals day. Rather, it's the last day of classes, so most classes have something of a review day. I seemed to remember something about having a final on that day, but I wasn't exactly sure. When I got there, I saw through the windows that people were taking the test, so I was all "oh crap!" Not that the test really mattered. I needed nine points on it to get an A in the class. XD The main problem arose because I didn't have a Quickscore sheet with which to write my answers on. -_- When I got in there, I took a seat and asked the guy next to me whether he had a spare Quickscore. To my great fortune and surprise, he did! w00t! ^_^ With that, I was able to take the test and score at least nine points. XD

Yesterday was my history final. OMG, that was probably the most difficult final I'll have to take. It's entirely essay, like any normal test in that class, but you know what? My teacher demands an unusual amount of information. For example, say he mentions governmental reforms of a certain era. What he expects in an A paper is not just a list of reforms (like most teachers), but the reforms, famous names associated, dates, and possibly some speculation into the eventual reprecussions. -_- So yes, I never know what to write down for that man. I'm used to writing whatever I need to write in a few words. Bleh. Well, I went into the classroom, turned in my take-home essay portion (which I did two and a half hours before class ^_^;;), and took the in-class portion. Truth be told, I think the questions he had for the final were a lot more straightforward than his usual tests. Score! ^_^ Not only that, when he finished grading the take-home portions, he said the lowest grade was a B. XD I'm hoping for the best on my in-class stuff. ^_^

Now all that's left is math and speech. I'll be taking math later today, so after that, I just have speech on Friday. Speech is so easy, I don't have to study! XD So after today, I'm essentially home free. I can do it! Yossha!!! *determination*

Squee~!!!1 XD (<-- yes, that is "squee" #2 that has come from me) Sophie's back in SCII (scroll down)!!!! XD Oh man, now I can't wait until Saturday, which is when I'll be getting my copies of PS2 and GC SCII. Back in the days of SC, I kinda grew attached to the girl, so when she was nixed for her sister in SCII, I was kinda bummed. But I got used to it and Cassie's cool too, but I still like Sophie better. I'm happy. XD Too bad they changed her second outfit (my favorite) to the point where it just doesn't look good. -_- I guess I'll be using her first outfit from now on.... Mina's back too, which is also great, even though I kinda stopped playing her a little while back. She used to be my main in Soul Edge and in my early Calibur days, but then I moved on to Xiang, and finally Sophie. It's good to see her back, but her outfits aren't exactly great. I think her second outfit could be better if they had changed her hair and put some pants on her, but that's me. *shrugs* Finally, Lizard Man is back too, but I don't care much for him. ^_^;

It's been a few days since I've written here. ^_^;

What has been happening? Well, first, the winter quarter for UC Davis has ended, so my sister is now home for her spring break. That's one of the reasons why I haven't been posting: she's been using the computer at night. Nighttime, if you haven't noticed, is when I post most often. Anyway, we've been doing stuff and chatting. She showed me the second Harry Potter movie because she downloaded it. Like the first movie, I'd say it's good, but it wasn't exactly my cup of tea, so I can't say that I thought it was that great. *shrugs*

While Davis may be out for their break already, De Anza certainly isn't. -_- I still have another week of school: finals week. That is actually what I've been doing a lot this weekend: studying for finals. I've been mostly going over my history stuff because that's pretty easily my most demanding final. While reading a text book, trying to remember every last bit of information, may not sound all that appealing, it actually isn't all that bad; especially because I'm reading up about Tokugawa Japan. I love reading the book and then going: "hey! That was refered to in Kenshin/Samurai Deeper Kyo/etc.!" ^_^; Gonna have to touch on my math tomorrow. -_- Stupid math....

Hm... interesting information.... Oh! A new Tapioca Express opened up near me! XD That sounds a lot better than it actually is though.... I went out there on a Tap run yesterday with my friend Lan. I gotta say, they aren't that great. -_-; Suppose the milk tea is alright, but the chicken.... Bleh! OK, so it's not exactly "bleh" bad, but it's not anywhere near good. Not only is it not sufficently spicy (as is a common occurance at any Tapioca Express), it is just not prepared well. I don't know hwo to describe it, but it's not tasty to my palette. -_-

Today I went to a Viet restaurant for dinner. While that is definately not all that unusual in itself, what was is that there was a band there. Wow... who'da thunk? They were one of those makeshift bands.... You know... kinda like the band in the Wedding Singer? Yeah, one of those bands. Only, this one was composed of entirely Vietnamese guys. You know what was funny? They sang Santana (can't remember the name of the song). XD You don't know just how funny it is to hear Viet guys singing in Spanish. XD I know I didn't. ^_^

My printer is really annoying me right now. -_- (I'm using that face too often today...) I put in a goodly filled black ink cartridge and it tells me that there's no black ink! I don't get it! I shake the cartridge and I can hear plenty of ink just slooshing around, yet I still get the red "I'm out of ink, so you better insert another cartridge" light. What the hell? X_X Because of that, I'm gonna have to rush over to someone's house tomorrow morning to print out stuff. I don't even know who I'm going to turn to yet. -_-

Hm... those are all the random thoughts for now. Dang, I really wanted to talk about something maybe two days ago, but I forgot! I was thinking about it before going to bed and when I woke up in the morning, I just plain forgot. -_- Maybe it'll come back to me. I hope so....
