Just got home from my appointment at the DMV. I took my driver's test today and you know what? I passed! ^_^ Yay! I'm a motorist now. You know, it wasn't that difficult. As far as I know, all my friends who took it failed at least once. How did I do? Well... you can miss what was it... 25 points? I missed 10. I also had a female tester. All my friends tell me that female testers grade harder. Yah... I'm good. ^_^

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to drive to Fanime. I may have my license, but my parents don't feel comfortable with letting me go there by myself. Oh well... I guess I'll just have to get a ride to and from. It's alright. Next year I'm definately going to be able to go by myself. That'll be fun.

After my test, I even got to go eat some Vietnamese food. Yummy! I love Vietnamese food. I ate some hu tieu bo kho (too lazy to add accents). Mmmm... that only made my day better.

Oh... I need to talk about yesterday...

Yesterday was an early day. School was let out at 1:00. Woo. We had the anime club sessioning, as we do every friday. Yesterday we were joined by Tina. Yay! I don't get to see you often enough. Thank you for the late birthday monkey and the shitajiki! You gotta join us more often. Anwyay, we played lots o' Smash Bros. Woo! I also played some Puzzle Fighter. I beat Sataya. ^_^ Yep... if you want a rematch, you need to play me in Smash Bros. again. ^_^ HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

When I got home I watched Kanon 9 & 10 again, X TV 23 & 24, and Sister Princess 25. Yay. I like my anime.

'Tis all. I'll be off now, as I got Sister Princess 26 to watch.

Right now I should be writing a report for my history class. My teacher gave us the assignment to write down seven qualities you think would make a good president. Using those qualities, choose a president and write about him. Since I'm so darn lazy, I'm just going with Clinton. Hey, contrary to what seems like popular belief, Clinton was a good president. The economy prospered and foreign relations improved during his term (among other things). Although he doesn't seem to have much support. It's quite sad when I do a search on Yahoo and get plenty of sites just criticizing him. Why? Because he had an affair? Big freakin' deal! I don't care what he does in his spare time. As long as he does good for the country, he's a good guy to me. Maybe not the ideal role model, but he did his job and he did it well. I can't ask for more than that.

Today I found out my classmate has a domain that's hosted by Domainsvision. Hah! Unlimited Bandwith... HAHAHAHAHA!!! Ah... that's good. As anyone who has ever looked for a host knows, you don't go with any host that offers unlimited anything. Why? Because people will abuse the priviledge. They will kill the machines. And because you're sharing machines with these people, you better be prepared for lots of downtime. I'm fine. I'm happy with Aletia. I experienced downtime before, but that was when I was on Kiwi and they fixed the problems on that machine long ago. Now I'm on Chick and I haven't experienced any problems yet. Go Aletia!

I'm iching to get started on my website project for Comp App. I'm really, really hoping that it'll be free choice on topic. I want to get something done for my upcoming collective. Wow... I haven't published a website in years.... Sure, I have this log, but I haven't published a full website in maybe four or five years. Yep, I'm excited about this project. Although I'm not sure how good my site will look on the school computers. They are running Netscape 4.7. Why? Everyone knows Internet Explorer is tons better than Netscape. I tried to get my teacher to get IE on the computers, but he doesn't think he can. He has to go through the school tech guy to get things like that approved. Problem is, the tech guy hates IE. I don't know what's his problem, but because of him, all the computers at school have only Netscape on them. That is just wrong. Well... my teacher said that it might be possible to get the newest Netscape (what is it now? 6?), but he doubts that we'll get IE. Gwar!

I got Kanon 11! Oh wow... oh wow.... When you thought that it couldn't get better, it does. I gotta hand it to Key. They fabricated an amazing story. It's both so touching and painful at the same time. Geez... why did they have to end the episode where they did!? I'm left hanging here. I want to know what happens!

Dang, won't my friends ever stop? They are still trying to get me to go to the prom. I'm just about certain that I'm not going to prom. I guess if I had someone to go with, then I would spend a little time to consider, but I'm still pretty sure that I'm not going. I'm honestly thinking that I would have more fun staying home and watching anime. Maybe I'll watch Kanon again. ^_^

Today I had a test in stat. Not really all that bad. I'm pretty darn confident I aced this one. Woo. In physics we're getting ready for the AP exams and the physicsbowl. My sadistic teacher gave us tons of problems to do. We have four packets and there are 70 part I (multiple choice) questions and 65 part II (free response) questions. *sigh* They aren't due anytime soon, but it's just kinda daunting. We took a practice physicsbowl exam in class today. It wasn't really all that bad. My favorite question is as follows:

39. The driver of an automabile must carefully control each of the following devices. Which of these devices can cause an acceleration in a moving car?
1) the break pedal
2) the gas pedal
3) the steering wheel

[A] only number 1
[B] only number 2
[C] only number 3
[D] only numbers 1 and 2
[E] numbers 1, 2, and 3

Now when I read this question, I was just amazed. I hung my mouth open and I kinda dangled my arms downward as I suspended my body over my desk. I thought, "what the heck is this!? Obviously the gas pedal causes an acceleration in a moving car!" Now I suppose that would be everyone's reaction, but after thinking about it, this is a good question. Obviously the gas pedal causes an acceleration, but many forget that using the break pedal to slow down is inducing a negative acceleration. You might also take into consideration the fact that acceleration is a vector. Because of this, changing directions would change the acceleration. I'm not exactly sure what they want, but I answered E, although it might just be D....

Sataya bought me a Saint Robe!!! Yay! ^_^ I'm going on RO later to get it from him. Now finally my acolyte will have some worthwhile equipment. RO's worth playing again! All I need now is a swordmace...

After a few days of suffering, I'm finally getting Kanon 11. I'm downloading it right now. It'll take another two and a half hours. Not bad. But now that I'm getting Kanon, I find out that Ishin has finished Sister Princess! I need to get episodes 25 & 26! Gwar...

Zeruel:
Actually, she isn't going this year. Besides, she doesn't drink either. I guess you'll just have to compensate by inviting more random people, eh? ^_^ Hey, good luck with the working, man. I can tell it's rough on you. Hope you can solve your financial problems.

Blah... school...

Today, amazingly, I was actually productive in my physic class. My teacher occasionally just gives us a working period for us to do finish any homework we didn't already finish. Usually I take these periods to slack off, but amazingly, today I actually spent most of my time working. I finished a good deal of my homework that I hadn't done during this past week. My teacher always collects homework the day of a quiz or test. Because of this, I skip out on doing my homework way too often. I'm too darn lazy. But I feel proud of myself today. I did my work.

After school I went to work on Insane Ink work. We were screening an order for the girls swim team. Not bad. Couldn't stay too long, but I was there.

I made it a point to watch Kanon 10 again today. Dang, that episode is so good. I'm trying to download episode 11 as I type, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get it anytime soon. Darn slow uploaders.... I'm getting 2.72 K per second and it seems that it'll take another 14:43:45 hours to finish. Gwar.... As if my last post wasn't a good enough indication, Kanon is my current obsession. I'm hoping to get the game and/or merchandise at Fanime. When I say the game, I mean the Dreamcast version. I have no desire to get the PS2 version unless I really have to; unless I absolutely cannot get the DC version. Yep, as I've mentioned before, I hate the PS2 with a burning red passion. Anyway... I digress... I'm hoping to get Kanon, but I'm not sure if I'll get something else instead. If anything, I'll get one game at Fanime. I need to save my money to buy other things like art books. I might just get the DC port of the Nakoruru game instead. I've heard plenty of praise for Kanon, but I've heard nothing about the Nako game. I don't know how good it is, but I can't just pass up a Nako game, can I? ^_^ We'll see....

My sister is really into the Lord of the Rings right now. I don't know why. The movie didn't really strike me when I saw it. I don't have the desire to read the books either. Although, granted I never read books for leisure. Anyway, I just don't see why so many people like this "Lord of the Rings" stuff so much. I guess it just doesn't tickle my fancy.... I'll just stick with my anime thank you very much.

I've pretty much decided that I'll skip out on my senior prom. I'm really not in the mood to go. It's not that I don't have a date. Far from it. Even if I had a date, I probably wouldn't be excited about going. There's just nothing going on in my love life right now. Things are boring and stagnant. Going to a big expensive dance with someone I don't like would be a waste of both of my time and money. That $110 for bids would cover a darn nice garage kit. I'm certain a nice garage kit would bring me tons more enjoyment than going to my prom, especially if it's one of Nako. ^_^ Then all that other money I would be saving on a tux, meals, etc. would also buy me some nice art books. The only thing that ever seems to bring me happiness these days seems to be anime. I really don't have a problem with that either. At least something makes me happy. I'm glad to have my anime.

Saka:
Air, eh? Actually, I've been looking into that. I've heard from more than one person (you included) that it's better than Kanon. Hm... it's worth a look into. I just really want Kanon right now. I want more Makoto. ^_^

Saka & Zank:
Congradulations on starting the new Who Wants a Good Cup of Insomnia? clique. It's a good idea for a clique. I'll probably join sometime soon.

I'm too lazy to do more social logging today. Maybe tomorrow.

Oh wow... I just finished watching Kanon episode 9 and 10. Let me just say that they were brilliant episodes, which induce a fair amount of crying. I particularily liked them because they focused on probably my two favorite girls: Makoto and Shiori. Episode 10--the one about Makoto--just came out of nowhere. I never would have expected that. Wow... that's some wonderful writing. I thought I wanted to play the game before, but now I know that that was nothing compared to how much I want to now. I can't tell you how much I'm loving the anime, but I know the game is just bound to be better. I don't care if I can't read it. I'll play it and I'll like it. I want it now!!! I want more Makoto!!!
