Oh my... you don't know how crappy my math class has gotten. My teacher likes to give us quizes each week and I've been holding out thus far I suppose. I could have gotten better scores, but hey, I got something. Now today we had another quiz. This one was only on one section of the book. A section I knew pretty darn well considering how it consisted of pretty much only two equations that were rather similar. No problem, right? Wrong. I think I got a zero on this one. -_- Why!? I KNEW THE FREAKIN' SECTION!!! My teacher just had to give us the most crappy of equations to work with. Why!? I'm pretty pissed about that. Although, "pretty pissed" by David standards is not really pissed, but you get the idea. I'm just mad because I knew the material! I knew it well too! Gwar I tell you. My teacher sucks. -_-

Bitterness aside...

Today I went and got a flu shot. Yep, I'm not completely over my sickness yet, but I went out and got a flu shot. ^_^; Eh... at least I'm somewhat prepared for winter now. I'm not getting sick again I tell you! Not if I have anything to say about it! ^_^ Although granted, I'm pretty sure my word is just slightly more useful than as a speed limit 55 sign, but oh well.... ^_^;

You know what's cool? Today I drove to the doctor's to get my flu shot in the 4Runner. Sure, I've driven it before, but today I tried out the 4WD feature. I know it's just a minor thing to most of you, but I've never driven a 4WD car before, so hey, it's a big deal to me, ok? I just wanted to feel how a 4WD car would handle. As I expected, it was darn responsive. You can tell that there's a difference from FR (front engine, rear wheel drive). At least I could tell. Can't say that I liked it better, but it was certainly interesting. Now I need to try out an FF (front engine, front wheel drive) sometime. That shouldn't be too hard, considering how about 70% of the cars being produced today are FF....

They don't make mechanical pencils like they used to.

My pencil broke. -_- It's pretty darn new too! I bought it the first day of school! It's one of them Quicker-Clickers. I guess Pentel's quality control is pretty much shot these days. I remember when the Quicker-Clickers were a lot better than this. Back in the days when there was no wimpy rubber grip thing on them. Bah! Real writers don't need rubber grips! ^_^ But seriously now, this thing is pretty cheap in comparison. I was just twisting the tip of the pencil to unscrew the unscrewable part, when the entire tip of the pencil came off and with it, came the little plastic mechanical wedge-part-thing that makes the pencil click. I guess it wasn't that bad because I can still stick it on and write with it, but now the tip comes off occasionally and that sucks. I gotta go out and get a better pencil. Anyone have any suggestions? I want something good and solid. Preferably in the color green. ^_^

As for my physical health, practically all the symptoms of bad sickliness are gone. I still got a little bit of the sniffles, but that's about it. I suppose that's a good thing. It's definately more like me too cause I rarely get sick. My body's unusually healthy. I guess it runs in the family cause everyone in my family seems to be unusually healthy. No one ever seems to have serious health problems, no one has died during my lifetime, and my grandparents are still alive even thought they're 80+. It's great. I know I'll have a long life to live with little in the way of health problems. You just watch, I'll be one of them old geezers that runs a good 5 miles each morning. XD So yah, I'm gooder and non-sicklier now (that is what I was talking about... I think.... XD).

I've been playing more Initial D Arcade Stage. Good game. I have a nice dark green SW20 now and I'm working on it. I'm finally starting to get decent at handling the thing. Yah, it's hard. It's kinda discouraging seeing people who haven't played as much doing better. -_- Although granted I see them driving things like FDs and Lan Evos, so it's kinda understandable. At least I know that my car requires some kind of skill. Not as much as the Miata, but plenty enough. ^_^

Oi, oi, imouto! I'm helping the team goodly! I got 10158 keystrokes! Now all I have to do is pulse. Oh wait... make that... 10240... no... 10256... no.... Anyway, aren't you proud of me!? XD (Project Dolphin)

So yes... that's it. I hope you folks enjoyed my rambling about my pencil and how I'm going to be unusually healthy when I'm aging and supposed to by dying. Yep yep. XD

Today I was supposed to go get a flu shot. Key word: "supposed." I didn't. Why not? Because I'm sick. You shouldn't get a flu shot when you're already sick. Body's weak and all that crap. To tell you the truth, I was supposed to go get this shot on Saturday, but I had Anika's party. As if I wasn't sick then also. Oh whatever. I didn't really want to go out and have some doctor stick a needle in me anyway. Not that I'm afraid or anything, but it's a waste of time. Time that could very well be spent in front of the computer doing nothing! ^_^

This morning, I went to MGL before classes. There, I played some more Initial D Arcade Stage. Man, the FD handles too well. I mean, sure, I can understand that it would handle well, but geez... it's just too good. I hear that it's the clear-cut "best" car in the game (followed by the 86), I don't doubt it. So instead of working on my FD, I decided to start a new, more fun car. What's the fun in a car when it does everything you want it to do? ^_^ Thus, I started a SW20, or a 2nd generation MR2. I chose the only mid-engined car, which I knew would be an experience. Now this car is satisfying to drive. Forget that I'm having a really hard time keeping it under control. ^_^; It's all about fun and this car is definately fun to drive. I can do such ludicrious drifts it's funny. ^_^ Although granted, not consistently, cause I'm still a newbie at the game. I love it. Problem is, after getting home and looking at stuff on the internet, I found out that there's a dark green color! I didn't know that was dark green (not knowing, I chose dark blue)! I thought it was gray! It certainly looked gray on the car select screen.... Unfortunately you know what that means? That means that I'll have to start another car. -_- Man, this game is going to clean me out. At $1 a race and $1 for a card, I'm in for very rough financial times. Da... If anyone's interested in the card I never intend to use again, here it is.

Anyone reading this go to the last Fanime? Anyone remember the guy with "the sign?" Well... apparently he showed up for the Anime Festival at the Metreon this last Saturday. Here're pictures. Good stuff. XD

I've been unusually sleepy today. Although my unusually sleepy is generally much different from what most people consider "unsually sleepy." When you think of the words "unusually sleepy," I'm sure you're thinking of being half asleep, right? For me, that involves almost falling asleep in class and getting sleepy early, like say, now (which for the record is 10:19 PM). I'm usually not sleepy, so when these things happen, it's an indication or something. Almost fell asleep in my art history class. I hope the stuff my teacher went over in the last ten/fifteen minutes aren't really important. ^_^; Anyway, I suppose this is all because I'm sick. Darn weak body and such. Gwar.... *shakes fist*

Feeling too sleepy to continue typing, so there.

*Sniff* The David is sick. x_x

Yes, I caught a cold... or flu... something. I don't know what the heck it is yet, but I do know I'm sick. Symptoms actually started developing maybe two days ago, but they were really minor, so I tried to hide and ignore them. You know... a slight dryness of the throat and very, very mild nose runningness. Today it got bad enough that I now sneeze occasionally and my nose is now mildly runny. Bah! I don't like being sick. It sucks. Gwar....

Today I headed out to the San Jose Museum of Art to write up a nice paper for my art history class. We were given a choice of exhibits at various art galleries to visit and write about. I chose the Museum of Art because it's the easiest to go to. ^_^ So yah, I went there. Now I haven't been downtown in a long time. I pretty much forgot what most of it looked like. Not that I ever really went there much before, but at least it seemed like I went there more before. So as I was going through downtown and looking at the sights, they looked mildly familiar.

At the museum itself, I took a look at all the pieces before finding pieces to write about. Now I've said it before and I'll say it again: I don't understand contemporary art. Sure, there were the traditional paintings that looked like art, but them installation pieces. What's up with some of those? Looks like stuff I could make by throwing a bunch of somewhat related items together in a random fashion. Meh... whatever floats their boats and such (which technically speaking would be buoyancy, but hey, it's a figure of speech ^_^). When I finally settled on pieces to write about, I sat there for maybe a good half hour to fourty five minutes writing about them. There were others that joined me in the same area and you could obviously tell that they were doing the exact same thing I was doing. Good thing they were doing it cause it's due tomorrow. Yah, I'm a really good procrastinator. ^_^;
